Police: Baby shot at home in Louisiana, parents not hurt

SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) — Police in Louisiana say a 10-month-old baby boy was shot and suffered life-threatening injuries late Monday night. News outlets report the child was struck in the upper body and taken to a hospital in Shreveport for treatment. Police say the child is expected to survive. The baby’s parents were inside the home when it was shot at around 11:30 p.m. Police say neither parent was injured. No arrests have been announced.
