SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) — The name of a child who drowned at an apartment complex in south Shreveport was released Tuesday by the Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office.
Officials say the child, 4-year-old Amelia Gray, was found Monday submerged in a pool at the Southwood Village Apartments.
Child was brought to the ER
She was transported to the emergency room at WK South Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 7:15 p.m.
An autopsy to confirm the cause of death has been ordered.
