Dak Prescott is in the building with the Dallas Cowboys after the star quarterback stayed away from the virtual offseason to try to get a long-term contract. That deal didn’t come before the deadline, so the 2016 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year is under contract for 2020 on the $31.4 million franchise tag. Prescott says he wants to stay in Dallas and believes the long-term agreement will come. Owner Jerry Jones reiterates that Prescott is the team’s quarterback of the future. The first practice of training camp for the Cowboys is scheduled for Friday.
